Kids Need Kiwanis and Rio Rancho Kiwanis Needs You! 

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNtY_I2hGzQ says, we provide support for youth programs in our community. The Kiwanis mission is “Serving Children” and we do this in the following ways:

We sponsor Kiwanis Key Clubs at our High schools. These Clubs help develop leadership skills and encourage doing service in our community. Watching our teens grow as they plan service projects gives Kiwanians a sense of pride and great hope for our future.

We collaborate with other local Kiwanis Clubs and buy school clothes for kids from families in need. This is one of the most heartwarming experiences as we see the smiles on these kids’ faces as they walk out of a store with new clothes.

Our major fund raiser, Sunday is Funday, has been recognized as The Favorite Rio Rancho Charity Event by Rio Rancho Observer Readers.  Our annual theme is “Bringing Our Community Together” and that includes providing lots of fun and a family budget friendly summer picnic. Proceeds from this event go to youth programs in the community. This event has grown to attract over 6200 attending on an August Sunday afternoon.

To keep providing these and other services for children in our town we need to continue to grow our membership and we encourage you to come Join the Fun.
